DRUSUS, son of Tiberius, (died A.D. 23), AE as, Rome mint, issued under Tiberius, A.D. 22-23, (11.12 g), obv. bare head of Drusus to left, around DRVSVS CAESAR TI AVG F DIVI AVG N, rev. PONTIF TRIBVN POTEST ITER around, S C across field in centre, (S.1793, RIC 45, BMC 99). Attractive dark patina, nearly extremely fine and rare in this condition.
