MARCUS AURELIUS AS CAESAR, (A.D. 139-161), AE sestertius, issue struck at Rome in A.D.140-144, (26.42 g), obv. [AVR]ELIVS CAE SAR AVG [P II F COS II], bare head to right, rev. priestly implements: knife, sprinkler, pitcher, lituus and ladle, S C in exergue, (cf.S.4834, RIC 1234b, C.457). Dark green toning, nearly very fine and scarce.
