LUCILLA, wife of Lucius Verus, (died A.D.182), AE sestertius, Rome mint, (28.95 g), obv. draped bust to right of Lucilla with hair bound up behind head, around LVCILLAE AVG ANTONINI AVG F, rev. PIETAS around, Pietas standing, head right, holding patera, altar before, S C across, (S.5505, RIC 1756, C.54). Dark green patination, very fine and scarce.
