CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 199-200, Rome mint, (3.37 g), obv. laureate draped bust to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS AVGVSTVS, rev. Sol standing front, radiate, naked, holding orb and spear, around PONTIF TR P III, (S.6857, RIC 30a, RSC 413). Toned, extremely fine.
