Recommendation: At Kaukab on 30th September 1918 when the advance was held up, this N.C.O. worked his way through heavy machine gun close fire and located four hostile machine guns. This information proved of great value to the Artillery. Later when the Regiment was charging this N.C.O. personally led a party straight on toward these guns which he captured.
