BRITISH WEST INDIES, Tortola, 1801, silver quarter dollar, as cut from a Mexico City Mint eight reales, countermarked with Tortola in relief within a shaped indent (Type 1a) (Pr3b; KM.6). Old scratch, very good, countermark very fine and scarce.
