PAIR. Indian General Service Medal 1854 - one bar Sikkim 1888; Queen's South Africa Medal 1899 - four bars Cape Colony; Orange Free State, Transvaal, South Africa 1901. 323 Sergeant W. Walters Sherwood Foresters (Derby Regt). Court mounted for display. First medal a duplicate and engraved, second medal impressed. Slight edge knock on first medal, otherwise very fine.

Together with Attestation Papers , Military History Sheet (which confirms both awards); Discharge Form and Regimental Medal Return for South Africa.
