Diademed and draped bust right, with sceptre over shoulder; REX IVBA before, rev. octastyle temple, Punic inscription around, (S.6607, Muller 50, MAA 29, SNG Cop.523) (illustrated); Cappadocia, Kingdom of Ariobarzanes I, Philoromaios, (95-63 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.09 g), year 30 = 66 B.C., obv. head of Ariobarzanes I to right, wearing diadem, rev. Athena standing to left with left hand supporting spear and shield, and right hand outstretched supporting Nike left, holding wreath. **BASILEWS* on right, [A]PIOBAPZAN[OY] on left, **FIL*OPOMAIOY below, to left **GA* monogram, date **L* in exergue, (S.7302, BMC 21, Simonetta 44a). Lightly toned, fine - very fine. (3)
