EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy XII, (80-51 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (13.63 g), Alexandria mint, issued year 4 = 78-7 B.C., obv. diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, with dotted border, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on a thunderbolt, to left around **PTOLEMAIOU BASILEWS*, to left L**D*, to right **PA*, (S.7945, SNG Cop.379, Sv.1850). Lightly toned, nearly very fine and scarce.
