CLODIUS ALBINUS, (A.D. 195-197), silver denarius, Rome mint issued A.D. 194-5, (3.60 g), obv. bare head of Clodius Albinus to right, around [D CLOD SEPT] ALBIN CAES, rev. around [MINER] PA CIF COS II, Minerva standing to left holding spear shield and olive branch, (S.6144, BMC 98, RIC 7, RSC 48). Light toning, uneven flan, otherwise very fine and very scarce.
