PRESENTATION SMOKERS SET, consisting of cigar case, cigarette case, cigarette holder tube, all in sterling silver (hallmarked) and with the initials G J B 23.5.14 engraved on the first three items, also a gold (9ct) tipped cigarette holder, all items contained in a green velvet lined case, handwritten on a card mounted on the insed of the lid ' To / Lieut Col C.J.Burnage V.D. / (Late Officer Commanding Newcastle Defences) / From / Newcastle Brother Officers / 23rd May 1914'.
