ROMAN, bronze legionnaire's fibula, (c.1st - 2nd century A.D.), of heavy large bow form, circular design to shaft, (length 75mm). Attractive green patina, intact and scarce.

With collector's description indicating excavation in the Scheldt Valley, Northern France, c.1898.
