CHINA, early 20th century, pair of ivory boxes, circular shape, lids decorated with rural scenes of trees, rocks and mountains, sides decorated with similar motifs, both signed in extremely small Chinese script, (57mm and 49mm wide, both 40mm high). Toning, very fine, the smaller box with a naturally occuring split in the lid that has been incorporated into the design. (2)
