VESPASIAN, (A.D. 69-79), AE dupondius, Lyons mint, issued A.D.71, (13.51 g), obv. radiate head of Vespasian to right, around IMP CAESAR VESPASIAN AVG COS III, rev. FORTVNAE REDVCI around, SC across in field, Fortuna standing left holding rudder on globe and cornucopiae, (cf.S.2348, RIC 1141, Lyon 32, C.187). Green toning, some surface pitting on reverse, otherwise good very fine or better and very rare.
