ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 162, (3.31 g), obv. DIVVS ANTONINVS, bare head to right, rev. DIVO PIO around, square altar with double doors, (S.5196, RIC 441, RSC 357, BMC 71). Attractive old cabinet toning, extremely fine and rare in this condition.
