GENIO POPV L ROMANI, in exergue HTA, standing to left, holding patera and cornucopiae, (S.3671, RIC 18a) (illustrated); Severus II, (A.D. 306-307), as Caesar, AE denarius or quarter follis, Siscia mint, issued A.D. 305-6, (2.74 g), obv. laureate head of Severus II to right, rev. around GENIO POP VLI ROMANI, Genius standing to left, holding patera and cornucopiae, SIS in exergue, (cf.S.3740, RIC 171a); Magnus Maximus, (A.D. 383-388), AE 2, issue struck as Augustus, Arelate mint, (4.59 g), obv. pearl diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Magnus Maximus to right, rev. around VICTORIA AVGG, Maximus standing left holding Victory and standard, SCON in exergue, (S.4204, cf.RIC 27b, C.-). Toned, very fine - extremely fine, the last a rare variety. (3)
