NAVAL GENERAL SERVICE MEDAL 1793-1840, - clasp - Boat Service 21 July 1801. James Morice. Engraved and renamed. Incorrect ribbon, some small scratches behind neck, otherwise good very fine, only seven of this clasp awarded.

James Morice, Yeoman of Sheets, Uranie, Boat Service 21 July 1801 authorised ADM 36 14622 and ADM 36 14623. This clasp was awarded for cutting out the French corvette Chevrette in Camaret Bay, a small bay on the north coast of Brittany near the French port of Brest.
