Victor Robert Watt was born in Newcastle, 1886. A landscape painter in watercolour, he is best known for his lightly washed pastoral scenes which often appear at auctions. He was at one time manager of Swain's Art Gallery, Sydney. He died in Gordon, Sydney, NSW in 1970.
