CHARLES I, (1625-1649), Tower Mint, shillings, Group C, third bust, type 2A, mm plumes (1630-1) (S.2787), Group D, fourth bust, type 3.1, mm portcullis (1633-4) (S.2789); another type 3a mm crown (1635-6) (S.2791), another large crude bust, mm tun (1636-8) (S.2792); group F, Briot's bust, mm triangle in circle (1641-3) (S.2799). Most toned, fine - very fine. (5)

Ex S.J.Green Collection, second from Noble Numismatics (Sale 107, lot 1643), third from CNG E429 (lot 485), last two from Spink (Sale 15007, lot 1005).
