BAPTISM OF PRINCE JAMES, Duke of York, 1633, in silver (29mm), (by Nicolas Briot), (MI 268/65; Eimer 126B), obverse, Arms of Duke of York with Ducal coronet above an oval shield, around, 'NON.SIC.MILLE.COHORTES', reverse, wreath of roses and lilies around an inscription, 'JACOBUS./DVX.EBOR:/NAT.15.OCT:/BAPTIZ:/24.NOVE:/1633.' Toned, very fine.
