CHINA WAR MEDAL 1900. J.C.Lamb, A.B., H.M.S.Protector. Impressed. A few small marks in the obverse field and some edge nicks, otherwise extremely fine and scarce.

Able Seaman 1st Class John Clark Lamb; Emb.06Aug1900 on HMCS Protector from South Australia; RTA 06Jan1901 on HMCS Protector. The medals and gratuities awarded to the officers and crew of the Protector were distributed by the Lieutenant-Governor Sir Samuel Way, Bart, at the Port Adelaide Town Hall on 30 May 1903.
