MEMORIAL PLAQUE WWI, named to Alfred Easton, in original envelope and folder cover of issue. Nearly uncirculated.

There are two servicemen with this name on the CWGC rolls. J/35475 Able Seaman Alfred Easton, H.M.S. Vanity, RN, Died 26May1920, at age 21, commemorated at St Peter's Churchyard, Neatishead, UK and also 20/1564 Private Alfred Easton, 20th (Tyneside Scottish) Bn Northumberland Fusiliers, KIA 01Jul1916, commemorated at Thiepval Memorial, Thiepval, Picardie, France. This memorial commemorates the British and South African servicemen with no known grave who died in the Battles of the Somme between 1915-1918.
