MEMORIAL PLAQUE WWI, named to Sidney Waite. Cleaned and now re-toning, otherwise very fine.

There is one CWGC record for 42689 Private Sidney George Waite, 9th Bn Yorkshire Regiment, KIA at age 32, commemorated at Tyne Cot Memorial. There are also several other servicemen recorded as S.Waite, four for UK forces and one for Canadian forces. The Tyne Cot Memorial to the missing is at Zonnebeke, Ypres Salient Battlefields, Belgium.
