SICILY, Akragas, (472-420 B.C.), silver litra, (0.580 grams, obv. eagle with closed wings to left, AK RA, rev crab, (S.746, BMC 50); Gela, (480-470 B.C.), silver obol, (0.476 grams), obv. forepart of man-headed bull to right, CELA above, rev. wheel with four spokes, (S.787 [£100], Jenkins 190, BMC 34). First dark tone both with porosity on surface, otherwise nearly fine - nearly very fine and rare. (2)
