SYRIA, Seleucis & Pieria, Antiochia ad Orontem, (Antioch), Philip I, (A.D. 244-249), billon tetradrachm, (13.55 g), issued 249, obv. radiate cuirassed bust right of Philip I, around AVTOK K M IOV**LI FILIPPO*C CEB, rev. eagle facing open wings, head to right with wreath, around, **DHMARC EXOU*CIAC **UPATO G*, ANTIOXIA over S C in exergue, (cf.S.3958, Prieur 452); Syria, Commagene, Zeugma, Philip I, (244-249), AE 29, (13.44 g), obv. laureate draped and cuirassed bust to right, around **AUTOK K M IOUAI FILIPPO*C CEB, rev. tetrastyle temple with peribolos containing grove, beneath a capricorn, ZE**GMATEWN* around, (S.3954, BMC 29). Attractive patina, good very fine - extremely fine. (2)
