MAURICE TIBERIUS, (A.D. 582-602), gold tremissis, Constantinople mint, (1.48 g), obv Tiberius bust to right, with diadem, wearing cuirass and paludamentum, around dN TIBE RI PP AVC, rev. cross potent, around VIC[TOR MAU]RI AVS, in exergue CONOB, (S.488, DOC 14, R.1027-8, BMC 17ff). Weak in places, extremely fine for visible parts.
