ZENOBIA, Usurper, (A.D. 268-272), AE potin tetradrachm, (8.94 g), Alexandria Mint, dated RY 5 of Vabalathus, A.D. 272, obv. draped bust of Zenobia to right, wearing stephane, around **CEPTIMIA ZHNOBIA CEB*, rev. draped bust of Selene right, her hair tied in a knot at the top of her head, crescent moon before, LE to left, (cf.S.4761, Dattari 5513, Emmett 3913, BMC 2398). Glossy brown patina, surface pitting, fine and very rare.
