ANONYMOUS SERIES, (280-276 B.C.), silver didrachm, uncertain mint (Neapolis?), (7.39 g), obv. helmeted head of bearded Mars to left, oak-spray behind, rev. horse's to right on base, corn-ear behind, in exergue ROMAN[O] raised on tablet, (S.62, Cr.13/1, Syd.1). Toned, double struck on obverse, otherwise very fine or better and rare.
