C. EGNATIUS CN.F.CN.N. Maxsumus, (c.75 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.82 g), obv. Liberty with diadem, draped bust to right, cap and MAXSVMVS behind, rev. Roma and Venus standing facing, the former holding spear and sword, foot on wolf's head, the latter holding a sceptre while being caressed by Cupid, rudder on prow on either side, CN.N on right, M to left, C. EGNATIVS. CN.F in exergue, (S.326, Cr.391/3, Syd.787, RSC.Egnatia 2). Nearly very fine and rare.
