PETILLIUS CAPITOLINUS, (43 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.27 g), obv. eagle on thunderbolt head to right, traces of PETILLIVS above, [C]APITOLIN[VS] below, rev. temple of Jupiter Capitolinus of six columns, (S.486, Cr.487/2a, Syd.1150, B. Petillia 2). Grey tone, struck on an oval flan, some surface scratches, nearly very fine or better and very scarce.
