SYRIA, Kingdom of, Antiochus VI, (144-142 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.280 grams), Antioch mint, issued year 168 = 145-144 B.C., obv. radiate head of Antiochus VI to right, fillet border, rev. the Dioscouroi on horseback charging to left, above **[BA]SILE[WS] ANTIOCOU and below **EPIFANOUS over **DIONUSOU, to right K, and TPY to left date H**X*P, to left a thyrsus, all within wreath, (cf.S.7072, Newell SMA 220, Paris 988). Off centred, otherwise good very fine and rare.
