GALBA, (A.D. 68-69), AE as, Rome mint, issued A.D. December 68-15 January 69, Rome mint, (11.04 g), obv. laureate head of Galba to right, around SER SVLPI GALBA IMP CAESAR AVG P M TR P, rev. S C, aquila left on thunderbolt between two standards, resting on a bar, (cf.S.2137, RIC 507, C.69). Attractive brown toning, very fine and a rare final issue.
