TRAJAN, (A.D. 98-117), an issue in honour of his deceased father, silver denarius, issued 112-117, Rome mint, (3.09 g), obv. laureate bust of Trajan, draped on far shoulder to right, around IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS VI P P, rev. Trajan senior seated left on curule chair, holding patera and sceptre, around DIVVS PATER TRAIAN, (S.3323, RIC 252, RSC 140, BMC 500). Attractive blue and gold toning, good very fine - nearly extremely fine and very scarce.
