MARCUS AURELIUS, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 168, (3.14 g), obv. laureate head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around M ANTONINVS AVG ARM PARTH MAX, rev. around FORT RED TR P XXII IMP V, COS III in exergue, Fortuna seated to left holding rudder and cornucopia, (cf.S.4900, RIC 185, C.208). Deeply toned, nearly extremely fine.
