FAUSTINA JUNIOR, wife of Marcus Aurelius, (d.A.D. 175), posthumous silver denarius, (2.77 g), obv. around DIVA FAV STINA PIA, draped bust to right, rev. CONSE CRATIO, peacock standing facing with open tail, (cf.S.5215, RSC 70, RIC M743). Deeply toned, uneven flan with small chip, nearly extremely fine and scarce.
