PALESTINE, Judaea, First Revolt, (A.D. 66-70), copper prutah, year 2 = 67-8 A.D., (3.062 grams), obv. amphora with broad rim and two handles 'year two' in Hebrew around, rev. vine leaf on small branch, 'the Freedom of Zion' as Hebrew legend around, (S.5639, AJC 12 [p.260, Pl.18], H. 661 [123], Meshorer 153 [p.155], Kadman 11, cf.Maltiel-Gerstenfeld 230). Black-greem patina, very fine and very scarce this, nice.
