CARAUSIUS, (A.D. 287-293), billon antoninianus, Colchester Mint, (4.01 g), obv. radiate cuirassed bust of Carausius to right, around IMP CARAVSIVS P F AVG, rev. around COME S A[VG], C in exergue, Victory standing to left with palm branch, (S.13559, RIC 200). Deeply toned, struck on an oval flan, very fine and rare.
