ANCIENT ROMAN AND BYZANTINE AE ISSUES INCLUDING, Ionia, Ephesus, Claudius, with Agrippina Junior, (A.D. 41-54), AE 19, (4.59), struck circa A.D. 49-50, obv. conjoined, laureate head of Claudius and draped bust of Agrippina right, rev. stag standing right, (S.-, RPC I 2624, SNG Copenhagen 373-4, BMC 205-6); Constantine I, (A.D. 307-337), AE 15, posthumous issue, Antioch mint, (1.47 g), obv. veiled head right, rev. Aequitas in long dress standing facing, head turned left, holding scales, SMANH in exergue, (S.-, RIC 64, C.314) (illustrated); others including a sestertius of Postumus, bronzes of Numerian, Valentinian, Victorinus, Claudius II, Maxentius, Licinius II, Probus; also two electrotypes. Toned, poor - extremely fine, the second coin very rare. (24)
