ANONYMOUS SERIES, (shortly after 211 B.C.), silver victoriatus, (3.222 grams), Rome mint, obv. laureate head of Jupiter to right, border of dots, rev. Victory to right, crowning trophy, in exergue ROMA, dotted border, (S.49, Cr.44/1 or 53/1, Syd. 83). Good very fine.

A rather heavier example than usual.
