MALAYA, Sarawak, 1878 (3 Feb), piece with 1875 12c red/pale rose (SG 7), tied by oval 'Sarawak/Post Office' date stamp in combination with Straits Settlements 1867-1872, 2c and 30c (two wing marginal examples of each), (SG 11a, 17), paying 64c external postage, with 'B-172' cancels. Used with minor imperfecions, but an attactive and scarce item. (5)
Ex Malcolm S. Burrells Collection. Previously from Stanley Gibbons Limited on card with description, priced £225 on the 15.8.1994.
