W(IDE) B(AY) R(OWING) C(LUB), (1927), prize medal in 9ct gold (3.27g; 30.5x32mm), ring top suspension, reverse inscribed, 'W.B.R.C./Regatta/16.4.27/Junior Fours/Won By/J.M.Steele (Bow)'. Uncirculated.

The W.B.R.C. Regatta was held on the Mary River at Wide Bay, Queensland on Saturday 16 April 1927. The Junior Fours rowing event was won by the team from Leichhardt Rowing Club comprising J.M.Steele (bow), S.Jones (2), T.Randle (3), G.D.Carter (stroke) and S.Ryan (cox).
