NERO, (A.D. 54-68), silver denarius, issued c.64-65, Rome mint, (3.448 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Nero, around NERO CAESAR AVGVSTVS, rev. Jupiter seated left on throne, holding Victory, thunderbolt and long sceptre, IVPPITER CVSTOS around, (cf.S.1943, RIC 53, BMC 74). Good very fine and rare.
