OTHO, (A.D. 69), silver denarius, issued 69, Rome mint, (3.346 grams), obv. bare head to right of Otho, around IMP M OTHO CAESAR AVG TR P, rev. Aequitas standing to left, holding scales and sceptre, around PONT MAX, (S.2158 [£700 VF], BMC 6, RIC 19, RSC 9). Attractive dark tone, weak on parts of the legend, very fine/good fine and very rare.
