HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), AE as, Rome mint, issued A.D. 125-128, (11.410 grams), obv. laureate head of Hadrian to right, around HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, rev. COS III around, S C across, Salus standing to right, feeding a snake held in her arms out of a patera in left hand, (cf.S.3659, RIC 669, C.369). Ragged edge and crack in flan, very fine and very scarce in this condition.
