EADGAR, (959-975), silver penny, two line type, Pre-reform issue, (1.25 g), issued 959-972, obv. small cross in centre, around EADGAR REX, rev. BENE/.DIHT in two lines, divided by three crosses and trefoil of pellets above and below, (Moneyer Benediht), (S.1129, North 741, Br.1). Lightly toned, extremely fine and a very scarce moneyer.
