HENRY III, (1216-1272), silver penny, long cross issue, class 3b, issued 1248-1250, (1.60 g), rev. ION/ON/CAR/LEL, Carlisle Mint, (S.1363, N.987). Nearly extremely fine and a very rare mint.

Ex Mark E. Freehill Collection, from Noble Numismatics Sale 60 (lot 3611) the Richard Cyril Lockett collection with his ticket (4/-) and illustrated from the supplemenary plate 76 (row 6 no 4), Glendining's June 6-9 1955 (lot 1203 part) and with Dave Hess, Baton Rouge Louisiana envelope.
