HENRY III, (1216-1272), silver penny, long cross issue, class 3c, issued 1248-1250, HEN/RI O/N LV/NDE, (1.42 g), rev. London Mint, (S.1364, N.988). Sharply struck, extremely fine with grey tone.

Ex Mark E. Freehill Collection, and previously from Noble Numismatics Sale 60 (lot 3617) and from the Richard Cyril Lockett collection and with ticket with date 13.1.1910, illustrated from the supplemenary plate 77 (row 8 no 5), Glendining's June 6-9 1955 (lot 1202 part) and with Dave Hess, Baton Rouge Louisiana envelope.
