HENRY III, (1216-1272), silver penny, long cross issue, class 3c, issued 1248-1250, (1.48 g), rev. HVG/E ON/WIN/CHE, Winchester Mint, (S.1364, N.988). Good very fine and scarce.

Ex Mark E. Freehill Collection, from Noble Numismatics Sale 60 (lot 3625) and from the Richard Cyril Lockett collection and illustrated on supplementary plate 78 (row 1 no 7), Glendining's June 6-9 1955 (lot 1203 part) and with Dave Hess, Baton Rouge Louisiana envelope.
