EDWARD VI, (1547-1553), second period, contemporary plated copy of the base silver shilling, Southwark Mint, mm + (cross not used in the normal issues), dated 1549, (5.12 g), (cf.S.2465-2472, cf.N.1917). Large round flan, very fine and rare.
