ELIZABETH I, (1558- 1603), third and fourth issue, silver threepence, mint mark pheon, 1562/1, (1.56 g), (S.2565, N.1998). Attractive dark tone, round good very fine and very scarce.

Ex Mark E. Freehill Collection, from Noble Numismatics Sale 78B (lot 2060), the W.H. Lampard Collection, originally bought from B.A. Seaby, Ltd., London, purchased in 1966.
